Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website, online booking, and dryer vent cleaning and related services provided by Vent Pro NYC, LLC (“Vent Pro NYC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website, booking service, or communicating with us by phone, text, or email, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Vent Pro NYC, LLC is a licensed and insured dryer vent cleaning company serving New York City and Deal, NJ. Contact information is provided in Section 13 below.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use our services or book on behalf of another person or property.

3. Service description

We provide residential and multi-unit dryer vent cleaning, airflow inspection, vent re-routing, lint trap deep cleaning, and related services. Quotes and final pricing depend on the specific job, access conditions, vent length and routing, and any work beyond a standard cleaning. We will communicate any change in scope or price before performing additional work.

4. Booking, scheduling, and cancellation

You may request service by phone, online booking form, email, or text message. Appointments are confirmed once we send you a confirmation by phone, email, or text. Please be available at the service address during the appointment window and ensure we have safe access to the dryer and vent run.

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations and reschedules. Missed appointments or last-minute cancellations may be subject to a trip fee, which we will communicate before charging.

5. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice. Late or unpaid balances may be subject to reasonable collection costs.

6. SMS / text messaging terms

By providing your mobile phone number to Vent Pro NYC — including through our online booking form, by calling or texting us, or by writing your number on a paper form — you expressly consent to receive text messages from Vent Pro NYC at that number. Messages may include:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders.
  • Technician en-route, arrival, and completion notifications.
  • Quotes, invoices, payment links, and receipts.
  • Service follow-ups and annual cleaning reminders.
  • Replies to questions you send us by text.

Message frequency varies based on your service activity. Message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier. Vent Pro NYC does not charge a fee to receive text messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

You can text HELP for assistance, or STOP to opt out of text messages at any time. After texting STOP, you will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed; after that we will not send you further text messages, except where required to complete a transaction you initiated. You may also opt out by calling us at (718) 541-5567 or emailing hello@ventpronyc.com.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include all major U.S. wireless carriers. For details on how we handle the information you provide, see our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

7. Property access and safety

You represent that you have the right to authorize service at the address provided and that you (or an authorized adult) will provide our technicians with safe, lawful access to the dryer, vent run, and any related areas. We may decline or stop work where conditions are unsafe (for example, unstable roofs, hazardous wiring, blocked access, or active pest infestations) and may charge a trip fee for the visit.

8. Limited warranty

We stand behind our work. If, within 30 days after a standard dryer vent cleaning, your dryer’s drying times have not meaningfully improved as a direct result of the cleaning we performed, contact us and we will re-inspect at no charge and re-clean if appropriate. This limited warranty does not cover mechanical issues with the dryer itself, vent damage we did not cause, problems caused by improper use, or buildup accumulated after our service. This is our exclusive warranty and replaces all other warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

While dryer vent cleaning meaningfully reduces fire risk and improves efficiency, no service can eliminate all risk of dryer fires, mechanical failure, or property damage. You should continue to follow your dryer manufacturer’s safety guidance, clean the lint trap after every load, and never leave a running dryer unattended.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or loss of use.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.

10. Website use

Our website, including all text, images, logos, and design, is owned by Vent Pro NYC or its licensors. You may use the website for personal, non-commercial use to learn about and book our services. You may not copy, scrape, resell, or use the site or its content for any unlawful purpose.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Kings County, New York, and you and Vent Pro NYC consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Effective” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after we post updated Terms means you accept the changes.
