Cooking grease collects on the filters and inside the hood, right above an open flame. It's the kitchen's version of lint in a dryer vent — buildup you can't see, sitting where heat is.

Once the metal mesh loads up with grease, the hood stops moving air. Smoke, steam, and cooking smells stay in the kitchen instead of going out.

Final price may vary for extreme grease buildup, difficult access, or ductless hoods needing replacement charcoal filters — we confirm with you before doing any of it.

We don’t clean commercial or restaurant cooking equipment — in New York City that work is regulated by the FDNY and has to be done by technicians holding the proper Certificate of Fitness, working for an FDNY-approved company. If you run a food business out of your home, or your kitchen has commercial-grade equipment, we’re not the right fit and we’d rather tell you now than at your door.
